Our Story
California Healthy Home was founded by Zem with a straightforward goal: give Bay Area homeowners honest, accurate information about the air they breathe and the materials in their homes. What started as a commitment to doing one inspection at a time with precision has grown into a trusted environmental inspection and remediation company serving the entire San Francisco Bay Area.
We are a family-owned business headquartered in Burlingame. Our team brings hands-on experience in mold inspection, asbestos testing, and radon monitoring. Every inspection follows the same standard: thorough documentation, calibrated equipment, and results you can trust.

Third-Party Lab Testing
We send every sample to independent, accredited third-party laboratories. Air samples go to AIHA-accredited labs. Asbestos samples go to NVLAP-accredited labs. We do not operate our own lab, and we never will. This separation between testing and analysis eliminates any conflict of interest. When we also provide remediation services, the lab results that guide that work come from a source we do not control. You can trust the data because no one at our company has a financial incentive to manipulate it.
